An era of music a star of music and person to whom music was in his soul and heart passed away yesterday. We are talking about Ravindra Jain the sweet voice of INDIAN cinema.
Ravindra was born on Aligarh. His father was Indramani Jain Vidhya Shastri and mother Kiran devi. His song "akhiyon ke jharoko se" was very popular among people and he used to compose songs from starting from Rajshree productions and his last compose for Rajshree productions was Eak Vivah Aisa Bhi. He also used to write songs by his own. Writing and composing songs for Raj Kapoor for an achievement for him and Raj sir loved those songs. He has composed songs for more than 120 Hindi films and also prepared few albums in other languages. He had also won almost every award let's have a look at it.
1-He was awarded Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award of India, in 2015.[7]
2-Won- Filmfare Award for Best Music Director for Ram Teri Ganga Maili(1985)
3-Nomination- Filmfare Award for Best Music Director for Chitchor (1976)
4-Nomination- Filmfare Award for Best Music Director for Ankhiyon Ke Jharokhon Se (1978)
5-Nomination- Filmfare Award for Best Lyricist for "Ankhiyon Ke Jharokhon Se" in Ankhiyon Ke Jharokhon Se(1978)
6-Nomination- Filmfare Award for Best Lyricist for "Main Hoon Khushrang" in Henna (1991)
RIP Ravindra sir we will miss you.....
